Windows 10 last chance free upgrade

Microsoft released Windows 10 in July 2015. Initially, the availability of the operating system was completely free to any user of older Microsoft operating systems ( and 8.1).

The only condition for upgrading from the company was to take place in the first 12 months.Windows 10

Why the premise of 12 first months?

Of course in order for Microsoft to catch the over-optimistic goal it had set, and wanted Windows 10 on one billion devices by 2017. That of course did not happen, and while the free offer of the operating system has expired since July 2016, the Microsoft still allows the to upgrade to Windows 10 without any additional charge if they use accessibility features in Windows 7 or 8.1.

The most interesting thing is that this free method of upgrading to Windows 10 did not include absolutely any control over the users' computers, so even if they did not have accessibility features enabled, the free upgrade went smoothly.

This offer is supposed to end shortly after July of 2016, but for some reason (guess) Microsoft has decided to keep it and run it for much longer.

However, as we mentioned in October, Microsoft finally announced that it would stop distributing Windows 10 free of charge on December 31 and reported it on the upgrade page:

"The upgrade offer expires on 31 December 2017."

This means according to the company that the vacancy that allowed free upgrades to all the procrastinators will no longer be available from 1 in January.

So if you want to upgrade to Windows 10 for free, you better do it in the next few days.
