Microsoft has announced the release of Windows 10 IoT. The operating system is a tiny one version of Windows 10 for devices designed to connect to the Internet. It is also quite friendly for hardware like Raspberry Pi 2 and MinnowBoard Max.
The mini OS preview is available for free. Windows 10 for IoT was first introduced at the end of April, at congress Microsoft Build Developers.
Since then, the company has enhanced them with Wi-Fi and Bluetooth support, Improved GPIO performance for the Raspberry Pi 2, as reported by Steve Teixeira, director of its Internet of Things program management Operating Systems Group of Microsoft, in one publication.
Windows 10 IoT Core is one of the seven versions of Windows 10, along with Home, Pro, Mobile, Education and more.
To use this version of Windows for Medianetwork of Things (IoT), you will need a separate computer running the July 29th version of Windows, also known as build 10240, and Visual Studio 2015.
