Microsoft has reportedly released its RTM Windows 10 October 2018 Update. According to various sources, Windows 10 build 17763 which we published last weekteam it might be Microsoft's choice for the RTM of the big update coming early next month.
Build 17763 has already been released for Insiders who have been on Slow Ring since last week. Typically, this happens when builds are considered stable and with increased reliability.
So if this build is indeed the RTM of the upcoming Windows 10 October 2018 Update, we will see it soon (in the next few days) in the Release Preview ring. Of course after those who install the RTM by the end of the month, Microsoft will make available some cumulative ones updates to correct the remaining errors.
Let's say that WZor(a well-known Russian leaker and a very reliable source for Windows) and birthcity.com report that build 17763 is the Windows 10 RTM of October 2018 Update, although Microsoft has not said it so far.
An estimated release schedule of the upcoming update versions that was leaked earlier this month wanted Microsoft to release the RTM build in mid-September, and according to WZor that would happen on September 21st, while the promotion of the build to the Slow Ring took place on September 20th.
Let's report to all stakeholders that build 17763 is released with two different known problems, as described in our earlier release. But if RTM build is, Microsoft will have already solved the problems and fix it with some cumulative update.
