The Windows 10 are approaching the next big milestone of 1,5 billion, with Microsoft να ανακοινώνει ότι το λειτουργικό σύστημα χρησιμοποιείται σε 1,3 δισεκατομμύρια συσκευές κάθε μήνα.
The information came from Satya Nadella, CEO of Microsoft, who announced the company's profits in the third quarter of April 21 on April 27.
Microsoft expected Windows 10 to be in one billion devices until the summer of 2018, but did not achieve the goal. One billion active devices came two years later than originally expected in March 2020.
Windows 10 reached 800 million active devices in March 2019 and 600 million in November 2017. Progress has been relatively slow, but since then operating system adoption now seems to be growing faster than before, and one of the reasons is work from home due to the pandemic.

However, Microsoft has confirmed that it intends to turn Windows into a product that its customers will love.
"I want to move Windows from people needing it - and knowing they need it - to loving and wanting it," said Microsoft's Panos Panay.
