Microsoft is preparing a new Notepad application in Windows 11.
"Today we are starting to make the redesigned Notepad for Windows 11 available to all Windows Insiders on the Dev Channel," said Dave Grochocki of Microsoft.
“The redesigned Notepad for Windows 11 includes a number of changes that we think the community will enjoy. You will notice a fully updated interface user that aligns with the new perspective planning of Windows 11, with rounded corners, Mica and more. We know how important Notepad is to so many of your daily tasks, so we've designed a modern take on the classic app to make it new, yet familiar.”
The new look supports Dark mode, an important one mode. The new Notebook also features a redesigned Find and Replace experience, Grochocki mentions, and will support multi-level undo, a request from a lot of users.
