Microsoft is preparing a new Notepad application in the Windows 11.
“Today we're rolling out the redesigned Notepad for Windows 11 to all Windows Insiders in Dev Channel,” announced Microsoft's Dave Grochocki.
“The redesigned Notepad for Windows 11 includes a number of changes that we think the community will enjoy. You will notice a fully updated interface user experience that aligns with Windows 11's new visual design, with rounded corners, Mica and more. We know how important Notepad is to so many of your daily tasks, so we've designed a modern take on the classic app to make it new, yet familiar.”
The new look supports Dark mode, an important feature. The new Notebook also features a redesigned Find and Replace experience, according to Grochocki, and will support multi-level undoing, a request from many users.
