As everything seems to be Microsoft is in the process of developing the second update (Update 2) of the Windows 8.1 operating system. The company continues its efforts to improve the modern platform of and according to some new rumors, Redmond is ready to go RTM of Update 2.
The news comes through the Russian group Wzor, which has leaked enough Windows so far. Wzor's team reportedly said Windows 8.1 Update 2 is on track and will reach RTM this week, although the company has not announced anything about it.

Terry myerson, head of Microsoft's operating system division, said at BUILD 2014 that Redmond is working to bring some pretty big changes to its modern platform, that it plans to add more than just a menu Starts, but also options to run Metro apps in their own dedicated windows to the right of the desktop.
Of course, we've also read rumors from sources close to the development process that say the return of the Start menu may be delayed until the beginning of 2015 when the company released Windows 9. Naturally, nothing has been officially confirmed so far.
