The truth is that Photos are fashionable these days. But in such poses we always see a stretched hand, or a walking stick-camera, and posters can only abstain from the 1-1,5 measure with that implies.

The aesthetics of photo selfies will soon change as the construction of a quadcopter flightless unmanned helicopter with a built-in camera can become a wrist bracelet or a generally wearable device. Of course, the opposite is true if you see it as a bracelet that can also be a helicopter.

Thanks to Nixie, participating in the competition "Make It Wearable”With the device“Nixie wearable quadcopter”And has managed to reach the final.

The flying helicopter can and rally around your wrist when you are not using it, but it can also unfold to fly to the skies. Well, maybe not in the skies, but it can reach a respected distance, enough to get terrific selfies aerial photographs or videos.

Quadcopters seem to be the most common type of unmanned small aircraft in the world, considering how often we have seen it on the news, or on YouTube. Therefore, it is no surprise that the team Nixie  selected the same type of air vehicle.

The invention itself is not something out of the ordinary. Just with everything που κυκλοφορούν κατά τη διάρκεια των δύο τελευταίων ετών και που διαθέτουν μικρο-κάμερες υψηλής ανάλυσης, καθώς και την τεχνολογία των quadcopter, ήταν μόνο time for someone to take the idea and make it wearable.

There were, of course, some issues that had to be overcome, as did the tensile strength of the four copter arms that should be flexible enough to twist properly around the owner's wrist but also continue to resume their flat shape when released, for how long they were folded like a bracelet. And all of this without requiring excessive force to bend the axles.

The quadcopter uses an Intel Edison chip and a specially designed software that lets you know where you are. In this way, when it begins to fly, it can turn around you and take a photo of you from the air.

In the video we see the original device users taking photos when climbing a rock or balancing on a stretched rope. In essence, the device allows you to capture fascinating moments you could not before.

The perspectives of this invention sound positive. Even if the Nixie team does not win the Make It Wearable contest (the final will be on 3 November 2014), the invention looks very good, and so we have a lot of chances to see it on store shelves soon.
