The truth is that selfies Photos are fashionable these days. But in such poses we always see a stretched hand, or a walking stick-camera, and posters can only abstain from the 1-1,5 measure with that implies.
The aesthetics of selfie photos will soon change as it is in the works construction a flying unmanned quadcopter type helicopter with a built-in camera that can become a wrist bracelet or generally a wearable device. Of course the reverse is also true if one sees it as a bracelet that can also become a helicopter.
Thanks to the Nixie team, which participates in the competition "Make It Wearable”With the device“Nixie wearable quadcopter”And has managed to reach the final.
The flying helicopter can and rally around your wrist when you are not using it, but it can also unfold to fly to the skies. Well, maybe not in the skies, but it can reach a respected distance, enough to get terrific selfies aerial photographs or videos.
Quadcopters seem to be the most common type of unmanned small aircraft in the world, considering how often we have seen it on the news, or on YouTube. Therefore, it is no surprise that the team Nixie selected the same type of air vehicle.
The invention itself is not something out of the ordinary. Just with all the smartwatches out there duration των δύο τελευταίων ετών και που διαθέτουν μικρο-κάμερες υψηλής analysiss, as well as the technology of quadcopters, it was only a matter of time before someone took the idea and made it wearable.
There were, of course, some issues that had to be overcome, as did the tensile strength of the four copter arms that should be flexible enough to twist properly around the owner's wrist but also continue to resume their flat shape when released, for how long they were folded like a bracelet. And all of this without requiring excessive force to bend the axles.
The quadcopter uses an Intel Edison chip and a specially designed software that lets you know where you are. In this way, when it begins to fly, it can turn around you and take a photo of you from the air.
In the relevant video we see them users of the prototype device to take photos while climbing a rock or balancing on a tightrope. In essence, the device allows you to capture exciting moments that you couldn't before.
The perspectives of this invention sound positive. Even if the Nixie team does not win the Make It Wearable contest (the final will be on 3 November 2014), the invention looks very good, and so we have a lot of chances to see it on store shelves soon.
