According to reports, HongMeng could be released for devices in China this fall, while an international version could be released in 2020.
Meanwhile, Huawei continues to try to be "heard" after the United States ban.
According to prohibition signed by President Donald Trump in May, Huawei can continue to provide updates to devices already on the market, but will not be allowed to build new ones products using software or hardware manufactured by American companies.
