Yesterday we published about an accidental announcement made by Microsoft and stated as its release date Windows 10 Anniversary Update on the 2nd day of August.
The company released a full press release a few minutes ago, and officially confirms the date we announced yesterday.
Microsoft says there are 350 million Windows 10 devices to date, and that "its customer satisfaction is greater than any previous version of Windows."
Recommended for those who do not have the new functional upgrade their systems before July 29 to take advantage of the free upgrade offer from Windows 7 and 8.1.
The company then details some of the improvements coming in the Anniversary Update, highlighting what's new characteristics of Cortana and Microsoft Edge.
The final version of Windows 10 Anniversary Update will be released first for the Insiders, as the company wants to make sure everything is working perfectly before the general release of the update.
