Chrome 49: Google released its version 49 Chrome browser, which determines 26 issues security. Of these 26 bugs, 11 are classified as high-severity security gaps, 10 medium-severity, one low-severity, while two errors did not enter the ranking at all. As you can see, there are no critical bugs at all, which is the highest level of risk in Chrome's internal security bug ranking system.
Google revealed that it has provided 36.500 dollars as a reward for the discovery of 13 errors reported by independent security researchers. He also allocated other 14.500 dollars as a reward to researchers, who helped the company to fix bugs from the stable version.
Some of the issues corrected in Chrome 49 are two bypasses of the same or same-bypasses (in the Chrome Blink engine and in the Pepper Plugin), three use-after-free bugs in Blink, and more.
As for the improvements of the new version, Google Chrome 49 brings smooth mouse scrolling to all major desktop operating systems. Also, browser users can turn on a data-saving feature that tells websites before connecting, to load a lighter version, if any.
