A new post on her blog Microsoft reveals that the Redmond company is bringing HoloLens to 29 additional markets starting today.
This means HoloLens is now available in 39 markets, up from 10 initially countries. We should mention that the product is for developers and businesses only.
The official announcement of Microsoft he says:
In addition to describing our vision for a mixed reality in the modern workplace, we also announce that HoloLens is coming to 29 new markets in Europe.
Microsoft expects mixed reality to change the way we work in the near future. They expect information workers to benefit significantly from HoloLens, which enables them to combine physical and digital reality.
HoloLens is expected to receive a new update early next year, with improvements based on feedback from existing users of the new technology.
We are also trying to bring some improvements to the HoloLens software that have been required by our existing customers. We are committed to providing an update to our existing customers early next year.
It should be noted that HoloLens remains exclusively available to developers and businesses. The commercial suite and development version of HoloLens can be downloaded from the Microsoft Store.
