Η Offensive Security ανακοίνωσε σήμερα την κυκλοφορία της τελευταίας έκδοσης του δωρεάν, ανοικτού κώδικα, λειτουργικού Linux, του Kali Linux 1.0.6
It comes with the expected script – a utility called cryptsetup, which brings a self-destruct feature to allow a Kali user to encrypt their entire hard drive to make their data inaccessible in an emergency. And of course the encryption it also includes a secret code in the system boot.
Kali Linux 1.0.6 comes with Kernel version 3.12 and along with Self Destruct feature it also has many new penetration and hacking tools. The new version also includes an ARM image script, allowing the user to build pictures of Kali Linux for various ARM devices. Finally added a script that enables the user to create their own custom Amazon AMI and images in the Google Compute cloud.
If you already have Kali Linux installed on your system, you do not have to download the new setup. You can easily upgrade your installation to the latest version of Kali Linux using the following commands:
apt-get update apt-get dist -upgrade
