Microsoft has just released a new version of the Windows 10 for users in the fast ring of the Windows Insider program.
Windows 10 build 18290 comes with a welcome visual improvement. The changes it brings include that users can manually sync the clock with a time server, and that Windows 10 build 18290 also introduces a new system tray icon that shows which apps are using the microphone.
Regarding this, the company states, “In Build 18252, we introduced a new microphone icon that will appear in the notification area and informs you when a application will have access to your microphone. Starting today if you hover over the icon, it will show you which app uses the microphone. Double-clicking the icon will open Microphone Privacy Settings”.
Windows Update will also display an icon on the system tray to let you know when a reboot is required to complete the installation of new updates, and Mail & Calendar is officially supported for Microsoft To-Do with version 11001.20106.
Window 10 19H1 is expected to be finalized in March as an 1903 version, in public release in April.
