A couple of weeks ago, Microsoft released Cortana for iOS and Android, creating its own alternative for Siri and Google Now.
But in the latest update released today, the most important feature for Android has been removed from the app: Crawl “Hey Cortana".
In the previous edition, user could say "Hey Cortana" to wake up the assistant, essentially acting as a replacement for the "OK Google" feature on most Android phones (there's no equivalent keyword voice command on iOS, as it's against Apple regulations ).
Unfortunately, some users had experienced problems when activating Cortana, including dismodes toy microphoney in all applications, causing the company to simply remove it from the US market in the latest version available in the Play Store.
As it seems so far, Microsoft has chosen to delete the part of the application that had a problem but without apologizing. The issue will definitely continue…
