In more detail, the Electronic Crime Prosecution Directorate, in the previous period of time in the context of appropriate utilization and evaluation of information and complaints, carried out a thorough digital - online , on a well-known social networking site.

It should be noted that the money was requested by the company to exchange messages with the users on the social network, mainly through prepaid card codes, which are used for purchases and transactions on the Internet.

For this purpose, the Athens Public Prosecutor's Office was informed and ordered a preliminary examination, in which specialized executives conducted a targeted digital survey while at the same time corresponded with the social networking company and with the relevant telecommunication and Internet service providers for the identification of the actor.

From the answers of the companies and the consideration - evaluation of the pre-investigation material and the results of the investigation, it emerged that the management of the aforementioned page was done by an 18-year-old native in the region of Crete.

The 13-06-2015 police station conducted a surprise investigation, in the presence of a Judicial Officer, at the 18ronos residence in Heraklion, Crete. From the on-site digital survey conducted on the digital media involved, its illegal activity was digitally identified and evidence was found.
