Tor Browser version 8.0.9 has just been released, which fixes the certificate signature that has expired and caused the NoScript and HTTPS-Everywhere plugins to be disabled.
Last Friday, the Firefox users found out that their addons were suddenly disabled because Mozilla forgot to renew an expired certificate and was used to sign their addons. As add-ons must be signed with a valid signature in order to be used in Firefox, add-ons have been disabled.
Tor is known to be based on Firefox, so the files of NoScript, HTTP-Everywhere and other add-ons signed by Mozilla were also disabled in Tor.
On Sunday, Mozilla released Firefox 66.0.4 which resolved the expired certificate, which allowed Tor to in turn build a new version of the program browsing, with this patch.
