Η u-Blox (www.u-blox.com), a world leader in the field of semiconductors and modules for positioning and wireless communications systems, opened its new offices in Athens.
The opening comes as a culmination of the acquisition a year ago of Antcor, a pioneer in wireless intellectual property networks (Wi-Fi baseband intellectual property), highlighting u-blox's dedication to the development of short-range wireless technologies with IoT (Internet of Things) applications
Present at the opening ceremony was Mr. Herbert Blaser, Senior Director of u-Blox, who said:
"The new offices in Athens will enhance our know-how in design chip for wireless technologies short range and will expand our ability to provide reliable solutions for M2M communications in the market”.

The new facilities are located on the top floor of a modern building in Maroussi, a focal point for high technology companies.
U-blox is expected to double the existing team in Greece in the coming months, aiming at attracting highly specialized engineers in the field of software development and integrated circuit design.
