With the announcement of Windows 11, some might assume that Microsoft will focus its efforts only on the next big dose of Windows. But as we mentioned, Microsoft is still developing Windows 10 and not just the usual security updates and bug fixes.
The company just announced the existence of the Windows 10 21H2 feature update that will be released later this year. However, do not expect big changes.
Microsoft in the announcement of the new version mentions the term “technology εξυπηρέτησης”.
This is the third one feature update “scoped” after Windows 20H2 and Windows 21H1. All three are based on the same version of the Windows 10 2004 released in the first half of 2020. This will make the Windows 10 21H2 installation experience very fast for those running these three older versions of the operating system.
Οι προγραμματιστές που χρησιμοποιούν το Windows Subsystem for Linux (WSL) πιθανώς θα είναι ευχαριστημένοι με την επικείμενη υποστήριξη για το GPU Compute και το Azure IoT Edge
The company did not give a specific release date for Windows 10 21H2. As the name of the next edition suggests, it will probably be released sometime in the second half of the year. However, it has already started to be released for Windows Insiders, especially for those whose systems do not meet the requirements for Windows 11. Microsoft promises 18 months of support for Home and Pro versions and 30 months for Enterprise and Education versions of Windows 10 21H2.
