Windows 10 Anniversary Update turn off Cortana

In its version 1607 Anniversary , η Microsoft αφαίρεσε το on-off του Cortana.

As with most things of Windows, you can remove the search button or box entirely if you're sure you won't need it.
CORTANA Windows 10

With this option, you can have in full Cortana mode by pressing the Windows key and typing the search term. If you want to disable all of Cortana's features, leaving only the ability to search local apps, files, and settings, we'll have to tinker with the registry a bit.

On a system that is running Windows 10 Pro or Enterprise Edition, you can use the Group Policy to apply the setting to multiple machines on a corporate network. For a single computer, use the Local Group Policy Editor.
(Win + R in the window that opens, type gpedit.msc and press enter).

When Computer Configuration> Administration Templates> Windows Components> Search> Enable Cortana opens and set the setting to Off.

ή Administrative Templates - Windows Components - Search - Allow Cortana βάλτε την ρύθμιση στο disabled.

If you are now on Windows 10 Home, you will need to edit the registry. (Win+R in the window that will open type and press enter)

Follow the route:

HKLM \ Software \ Policies \ Microsoft \ Windows \ Windows Search

(you may need to create this key if it does not exist) and then create the AllowCortana DWORD and set 0 as the value.
