Microsoft has released a new build of the next version of Windows 10. Windows 10 Build 18317 test OS comes with some improvements in console of Windows, separates the search environment from Cortana and brings a refreshed look to some pages in Settings.
Windows 10 Insider Preview Build 18317 (19H1) is released for Windows Insiders registered in the Fast ring.
The new build does not bring anything important change, except perhaps the separation of search from the Cortana feature, which they now have differently icons in the taskbar, but also some settings for adding fonts, as you can see in the images below:
Another Microsoft change that hopes for better Start functionality is the addition of a separate ShellExperienceHost.exe function. To provide the best possible experience in Start, the company split the process into ShellExperienceHost.exe and StartMenuExperienceHost.exe.
This is expected to have many benefits according to the company, such as simplifying debugging, but also separating Start from possible issues affecting the system.
You can see more at announcement of the new build.
