Windows 10 build 20180 new Start menu for everyone

Microsoft has just released a new version for που έχουν εγγραφεί στο πρόγραμμα Windows Insider (κανάλι Dev). Η μεγαλύτερη αλλαγή σε αυτό το build είναι η διαθεσιμότητα του νέου σχεδιασμού στο μενού Έναρξη.

Windows 10 build 20180 doesn't bring any other new features, and Microsoft says that the tiles in the new is now live for everyone.Dell - Windows 10: which systems can be upgraded

Prior to this release, the company only had the redesigned Start menu on some of the Insiders, as it was conducting tests to determine the reliability of the update.

“We've enabled many of the new features listed in the July 1st release for Build 20161, such as live tile tails in the Start menu. The new feature for pinned sites that we mentioned in last week's Build 20175s is still only available to a subset of Insiders,” Microsoft says.

There are also many minor changes that users should be aware of during the of this new edition.

First of all, the new folder icon in the Start menu is now a bit smaller, and Microsoft says it tried to align its size with the other icons. This changed after user comments.

Just like all other preview versions, this one comes with a number of known issues that you can see at complete changelog.

These updates personally leave me indifferent, as they aim for a nicer UI while the system presents problems for many users, usually those who use older hardware.

Either way, it's marketing used by Microsoft and requires full press releases even when a Windows developer is scratched.
