Windows 11 system requirements have always been a bone of contention among users, as Microsoft considered the relatively new processors (at the time), such as Intel's 7th generation (Kaby Lake) and AMD's first generation Ryzen (1000 series), as incompatible.
They were CPU capable and could easily run Windows 11. However, these chips, and anything older, lacked certain security features that the company from Redmond considers vital to run its latest operating system.
In addition to CPUs, TPM version 2.0 was also made mandatory.
Regardless of all this, users started using workarounds to install Windows 11 on unsupported hardware.
Interestingly, Microsoft has also made its bypass official registeruh, albeit with several caveats.
In October 2023, we reported a tweak which allowed users to bypass the Windows 11 system requirements check during the installation process.
Apparently a similar trick has been discovered to help you bypass the system requirements, although this works on Windows 11 LTSC (Long Term Servicing Channel). It's a tweak with one click which works by selecting the Windows 11 IoT Enterprise LTSC option in the OS selection during installation.
In the Windows 11 LTSC Setup OS selection page.
When Windows 11 Enterprise LTSC is picked, it checks for the system requirements just like regular Windows 11 does, meanwhile picking Windows 11 IoT Enterprise LTSC will just skip the system requirement checks without workarounds! pic.twitter.com/bpCeUVmgbz— Bob Pony (@TheBobPony) April 6, 2024
For those who haven't been following the LTSC news recently Microsoft has officially confirmed κλειδιά προϊόντος "Windows 11 2024 LTSC" καθώς και κλειδιά προϊόντος KMS (Key Management Solutions), μέσα από εικόνες που διέρρευσαν. Η εταιρεία είχε υποσχεθεί μια έκδοση LTSC για τα Windows 11 τον Απρίλιο του περασμένου έτους.
