Windows 11 are already available for Insiders with a completely redesigned desktop, as the new taskbar aligns all icons, along with the Start menu itself, in the center of screens.
Of course, those who have been using Windows for many years do not like this because they find the redesign quite confusing. The new design is part of an idea that started from Windows 10X (which were not released in the end). To mention that this design is liked by many Windows friends.
As for the users who do not like it, in a post on Feedback Hub, there are hundreds of users asking Microsoft to add more options to Windows 11.
It makes absolutely no sense to remove a feature that has been in Windows for as long as I can remember. As a person passionate about the left side of the taskbar, the lack of setting to change it locations, makes Windows 11 a choice no facilities for me”, says someone on Feedback Hub.
But according to Microsoft, the new approach is actually a way to increase productivity.
"From the new Start button and taskbar to every sound, font and icon, everything has been purposefully made to put you in control and bring a sense of calm and ease. We put Start in the center and make it easy to find what you need quickly. Start uses the power of the cloud and Microsoft 365 to show you your recent files, regardless of the platform or device you were viewing them on earlier, even if you're on an Android or iOS device"Says the company.
Windows 11 is expected to be released in October and it remains to be seen if the changes to the taskbar, requested by friends of the operating system, will take place.
Of course, Microsoft says that it is considering all the comments in the Feedback Hub.
