Huawei our operating system is faster than Android

Huawei is reportedly developing its own operating system around the clock to replace Android and . According to a publication, Huawei's efforts are supported by the largest technology companies in China.

The Global Times reports that companies such as Tencent, OPPO and VIVO have sent employees to Huawei to test the new operating system internally called HongMeng.

According to recent reports, the operating system developed by , internally called HongMeng, is supposed to be a universal operating system to replace Android and Windows, even though Android apps are for the company.

Rumors claim that the tests revealed much faster speeds compared to the existing version of Android. According to reports, the HongMeng operating system is at least 60% faster than Android.

Huawei has not given details on when the operating system could be released, as Shao Yang, head of strategy for Huawei's consumer group, says the release date is "secret".

According to reports, HongMeng could be released for devices in China this fall, while an international version could be released in 2020.

Meanwhile, Huawei continues to try to be "heard" after the United States ban.

According to prohibition signed by President Donald Trump in May, Huawei may continue to provide updates to devices already on the market, but on the other hand will not be allowed to build new products using software or hardware made by US companies.

So Huawei is trying to reduce dependence on US-based companies and is trying to more components from Chinese companies while accelerating its development its own operating system to replace Android and Windows.
