The Facebook announced its acquisition instant messaging application WhatsApp, against a price that reaches 19 billion dollars, which is the highest acquisition cost in the history of the largest social network in the world.

"TWhatsApp is going to connect a billion people. Services that reach this level come at an incredible price,” said Facebook CEO and founder Mark Zuckerberg.
" The WhatsApp has built a mobile service real-time messaging, which has a leading position and is growing very fast" emphasizes Facebook in its announcement, which also points out that the service has more than 450 million monthly users, of which 70% are daily active, while more than one million people open an account every day.
