The Facebook announced the acquisition of instant messaging applicationς Whatsapp, against a price that reaches 19 billion dollars, which is the highest acquisition cost in the history of the largest social network in the world.
4 billion dollars will be paid in cash, 12 billion dollars in shares and other 3 billion dollars at a later date to the shareholders of the app.
